Kelly Villalba

My name is Kelly Dennís Villalba and I am a visual artist focused on creating unique sculptural artworks to reimagine the idea of the traditional coiled basket. I also enjoy working with analog collage because of how accessible the material is to me. I recently moved to Los Angeles from New Jersey, and I have experience leading art studio workshops independently and for art museum audiences geared towards community members and students aged pre-k-12. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to share my techniques and see students express themselves creatively through the medium.
