Text & Transparency Collage
Description: In this workshop participants will be working with text and learn quick tricks on how to turn their ephemera into a transparency. While transparencies can be achieved digitally there are ways to accomplish beautiful layers the analog way using inexpensive items. Each participant will be equipped with the materials to create their very own transparencies to implement in their collage creations and an email primer to prep and guide them prior to the workshop so they can spend all their time taking their work to another level!
Materials Included: All the amazingly wonderful supplies from Remainders and all necessary additional materials. Bring your own items also, if you like.

Instructor: Laura Henneforth
California born and bred, Laura Henneforth is a collagist who experiments with watercolor, printmaking, and colored pencil. Her collages focus on the female body, abstract in form and environment, to convey its utility as a vessel for love, life, and creativity.

All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
