Sewing Garments Tips & Techniques

Description: It’s no secret that improving one’s sewing skills means diving into learning about techniques and tools-of-the-trade, and getting organized. You may have questions on how to handle different fabrics. If you are mystified about some of the layers in construction, come to this class for some common-sense advice on general topics. Instructor will have hand-outs and fabric samples. 

Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.

Instructor: Kay Enyart

Kay Enyart is a Pattern Professor, Pattern Designer and textile consultant with over 30 years of experience. Most recently teaching at The Art Center her past accomplishments include working with Mood Fabrics, The Sewing Arts Center and Perpetual Motion Films. She earned a B.S. at UCLA and attended the Beverly Hills Design Institute. Kay is also an active member of several Museums and Sewing societies around the world.

Location:

All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
