Salvage Jewelry Making

$30.00
Sunday, November 15: 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Description: Students will be introduced to various styles of jewelry and are encouraged to explore and push the boundaries of what they know to be ‘jewelry’. We start with the basics, then reimagine possibilities by salvaging from vintage or broken pieces, before sharing their style in a final jewelry piece. All are welcome; no experience needed! Learn about finger placement when working with beads, wire and different kinds of pliers. Bring your own beads or pieces to work with alongside the various types of materials provided. Jewelry has been a statement and way of expression for centuries; get ready to explore yours!

Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.

PLEASE NOTE: There is NO PARKING in the back lot for daytime classes due to staff needs. Please park on the street.

LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN

Instructor: Haley Gore
