Needlework Meetup
Description: Join fellow needle workers for a fun evening of knitting, crochet, embroidery or needlepoint to make whatever your heart desires. Come to chat and hang out, share tips, discuss projects, help each other through challenges and of course make! Bring your WIP’s or start something new. We hope you will join our community of makers! There is an open studio facilitator and no instruction.

I am a life long lover of all forms of arts and crafts, I have dabbled in a few and mastered several. Crocheting and knitting bring me comfort when I listen to music, podcasts or an audible book. Sewing has been my greatest accomplishment in that I have made everything from professional business suits to bathing suits to chair/cushion slip covers. I briefly had an Esty shop where I sold items made from recycled blue jeans. Recently I retired from a full-time budget/accounting role in academia and turned my side hustle as a professional home organizer into my semi-retirement job. Helping people declutter and organize their homes provides me great satisfaction so I don’t look at it as a job. Organizing energizes me and the energy flowing through my soul is showing its results in my art projects….as many and diverse as they are.
Location:
All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
