Make a Summer Wreath

Fee: A child attending with an adult is one fee.

Description: This wreath starts with a wire coat hanger and a pile of fabric scraps. Together, we will cut, tie and fluff to create an upcycled masterpiece for your front door. Once your wreath is full, you’ll have a selection of accents to choose from, little welcome signs, decorative charms, and other finishing touches to make it your own. Skill level: All skill levels, all ages. If you can tie a knot, you’re ready.

Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials. Bring your own items if you like.

Instructor: Megan Fisk

Megan Fisk is a lifelong maker, self-described glitter enthusiast, and proud crafter. A former Peace Corps volunteer, she holds a PhD in Organizational Communication and runs her own consulting practice, where her clients include artists and creative industry professionals. She has spent her career finding ways to bring people together around learning and making, and crafting has been a constant thread throughout all of it. At Remainders, she teaches hands-on workshops focused on seasonal home décor and projects you actually want to keep, think wreaths, garlands, tabletop accents, and coasters. Her classes are designed for anyone who loves making things for their home, wants to have fun, and is willing to try something new.

Location:

All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
