Make a Hand Sewn Needle Book
Description: Learn the basics of hand sewing and English Paper Piecing by making your own needle book. This class will go over step by step all the stitches and techniques needed to make a hexagon needle book.
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO PARKING in the back lot for daytime classes due to staff needs. Please park on the street.

Instructor: Mallory Keesler
Mallory is a lifelong crafter and historian with a passion for vintage crafts. While getting her history degree in medieval studies, Mallory fell in love with the history of textiles, and along the way picked up a number of traditional textile techniques dating from the Medieval period all the way to the Victorian era. Her specialty is Victorian parlour crafts and she is excited to share this bit of textile history with her students.
