Kids Papier Mache
Description: In this class students will learn how to create armatures out of wire and cardboard for lightweight Papier Mache sculptures that can incorporate any combination of found objects, foil wire and decorative embellishments. Make a wall piece or free standing sculpture.
Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.
Instructor: Sarena Vasquez
Sarena (she/they) is an artist, yogi, and self-compassion enthusiast! She has a BFA in animation and feels a profound sense of purpose through community-centered initiatives. Her favorite way to explore creativity is through “play” where she tries to create without judgment, expectation, or rigidity. Sarena’s desire is to express herself with love & authenticity and to help others do the same – especially for the Queer and Neurodivergent community, through the wonderful world of art.
Location:
All classes take place UPSTAIRS in our CREATIVE SPACE unless otherwise noted. Use the exterior stairs on the side of the building to enter.
