Kids Friendship Bracelets

Description: Students will learn how to make colorful friendship bracelets using simple knotting, braiding, and pattern-making techniques. They will be able to experiment with different colors and designs while creating bracelets to wear, trade, or share with friends. This fun, hands-on class encourages creativity, patience, and self-expression while building basic fiber-art skills.

Materials Included: All necessary tools and materials.

Parent Requirements: Ages 9-15 – drop off & sign in all students; pick up and sign out all students; Parents are free to stay for the class to assist your child; parents will be called to pick up their child immediately if there is an attitude or discipline issue.

PLEASE NOTE: There is NO PARKING in the back lot for daytime classes due to staff needs. Please park on the street.

Instructor: Mallory Keesler

Mallory is a lifelong crafter and historian with a passion for vintage crafts. While getting her history degree in medieval studies, Mallory fell in love with the history of textiles, and along the way picked up a number of traditional textile techniques dating from the Medieval period all the way to the Victorian era. Her specialty is Victorian parlour crafts and she is excited to share this bit of textile history with her students.
