Kids Capoeira – Drop In
Mondays and Wednesdays – 4:00pm
Description: Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, music, and dance. It is a dynamic and playful activity that helps children develop physical coordination, strength, flexibility, as well as build community.
Come Prepared: Have your student come ready to move in class in athletics-friendly clothing. It is recommended to bring a water bottle. Class is usually done barefoot on a dance floor.
Instructor: Arthur Fiu
Arthur Fiu is a world-renowned capoeirista, winner of two world championships, and currently sponsored by Red Bull. He has been training capoeira his whole life, and began teaching in 2007. He holds the rank of Contra-Mestre, the second-highest rank in the capoeira world. He believes in discipline, community, and having fun while training hard.

This class will take place in the Room 7 dance studio in the back of the building next to Donations.
