Prerequisite: Beginner Sewing 1 and/or MUST KNOW HOW TO USE A SINGLE-NEEDLE DOMESTIC SEWING MACHINE.
Description: Discover the best, easiest ways to sew all-purpose and invisible zippers with a sewing machine. The class will cover how to choose the best zipper for your project, using zipper presser fee on the sewing machine, and how to get a stubborn zipper unstuck. You’ll go home with a lined zippered pouch for your first project, time permitting.
Materials Included: Sewing machines, fabrics and all necessary tools and materials

Hello, I am a professional costume and fashion designer who also enjoys teaching sewing to others. I have been sewing since I was very young and attended FIDM to study Fashion Design, and later, Costume Design. After working for 7 years in the fashion industry I switched careers to costume design and because of the short term nature of much of this work, I have been teaching as well. I have experience teaching introductory sewing classes at the Altadena Library and private classes to individuals.
