Fix Your Knitting Mistakes
Prerequisites: Student should know the basics of casting on, knitting, and purling, and ideally will have completed at least one basic project.
Description: Take the next step in your knitting by learning basic techniques to go back and fix your mistakes without having to unravel your entire project, and get some tips for preventing mistakes before they happen. This class will cover how to “read” your knitting to find where you are in the pattern, techniques for fixing small one or two stitch mistakes, and how to safely unravel your work back to fix bigger mistakes.
Materials Included: All tools needed to learn techniques will be provided. Students should bring a knitted stockinette swatch (alternating knit and purl rows) of about 3-4 inches still on the needles to get the full hands on experience of the class.
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO PARKING in the back lot for daytime classes due to staff needs. Please park on the street.
Note: LATE ARRIVALS NOT ADMITTED ONCE CLASS HAS BEGUN
Instructor: Mallory Keesler
