Beginner Bachata Series

Description: The Bachata is a playful Latin dance that is typically danced at dance clubs. This style is danced with soft hip motions, turns and side-to-side footwork. The music of Bachata is very recognizable for its predominant use of the electric guitar combined with Caribbean and Latin musical influences.
Suggested: Wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable to dance in.
Instructor: Alicia Valiente
Alicia has over 15 years of experience as a performer, dancer, choreographer, and instructor. She specializes in Latin rhythm dances and has trained with several world champion instructors. She has performed at various venues, events, and festivals in Las Vegas, Palm Springs, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, to name a few and is the owner/director of Salsea Dance Team based in Los Angeles, and home of multiple-time award winners, with dances choreographed and directed by her.

This class will take place in the Room 7 dance studio in the back of the building next to Donations.
